COPPA Rules
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) are the rules set up by the US government to protect children (stressing age 13 and younger) on the net.
The short version of the very long act is that you cannot take a child's private information (ie. name, address, email) without
written consent from the legal guardian. There must also be a page somewhere on the site explaining why the information
was gathered as well as what it will be used for. To see the whole COPPA, please visit

The intent for the information gathered here is for the Crazy Comps competition to function. The information is confidential and will not be sold to
outside merchants. E-mails are used to verify votes, send newsletters and similar, and partial identification. Names are used on a first name basis only or online alias to protect
the actual person. Any other information not thought of to be listed here will be used internally.
